The foreign exchange industry is experiencing changes ranging from artificial intelligence to new affiliate business models, as a result of which brokers have to consider how they operate, attract customers, and establish partnerships.

At FX.World, which is taking place in Rome from 02 to 05 November 2026, these developments will be a major feature of the Global Finance Stage. The FX World programme also features a keynote speech by best-selling author and fintech futurist Brett King, who will look at the rise of autonomous banking in his session BANK 5.0: The Rise of Autonomous Banking in a Smart World.

The keynote is accompanied by five panels which are notable for the speakers involved, their practical relevance and the questions they pose to the industry.

1. Driving Growth in FX: Commercial Strategies that lead to Success

03 November 2026 | 11:10 – 11:40

Going into new markets involves more than just having an ambitious expansion strategy. Brokers and fintech companies need to establish local partnerships, understand the regional expectations, and adjust their commercial models.

Carla Nemr, who is the Global Director of Business Development at CFI, will apply her experience of growing international brokerage businesses in this discussion. She has previously occupied senior business development roles at Tickmill and has therefore worked in a number of different markets and trading businesses.

The panel will look at how companies can deal with emerging regions and establish commercial relationships which will support sustainable growth. It also features Marios Chailis, CMO at Libertex Group; Gil Ben Hur, Founder of 5% Group; Menelaos Menelaou, Co-CEO at XM; and Drosoula Hadjisavva, Head of Conferences at SiGMA and Head of Marketing at FX.World.

2. AI-Driven Trading & Prediction Markets

03 November 2026 | 13:50 – 14:15

AI is altering the way that trading platforms analyse data, predict changes in the market, and interact with their customers. But to what extent can financial businesses put that potential into practical applications?

Alexander Gerchik, the trader from Wall Street who is known for his role in Wall Street Warriors and who is also the co-founder of Gerchik & Co, is joining the discussion together with Thomas Kareklas, Director of the Retail Forex & CFD Brokers Division at BridgeWise; Vince De Castro, CMO at Acuity Trading; Avramis Despotis, Founder & CEO at Tradepedia and Co-Founder at Edamame; and Rauan Khassan, Chief Growth Officer at TradingView.

The panel will look at the tools ranging from predictive analytics to personalised trading experiences and consider their impact on the next generation of financial services.

3. Bridging Worlds: How PSPs and Stablecoins Are Reshaping Payments

04 November 2026 | 11:10 – 11:40

For international brokers, the speed of payment, settlement costs and access to reliable providers are still important commercial factors.

Although stablecoins are offering more choices, there are operational and regulatory questions arising from incorporating digital assets into the current payment infrastructure.

Ivan Kroshnyi, the founder of SharPay, and Lior Aizik, co-founder and COO of XBO.com, are also among the professionals taking part. The panel also features Ivan Kroshnyi, Founder & Owner at SharPay; Alex Ryzhkin, CCO at B2BINPAY; and Andrii Podobied, CBDO at Deffio.

The discussion will examine whether stablecoins and payment service providers are competing for the same market or are instead progressing towards a more integrated approach for cross-border transactions.

4. The Prop Trading Firms Roadmap, Tech, Growth & Cross-Border Challenges

04 November 2026 | 12:25 – 13:00

In recent years proprietary trading firms have considerably increased in number, bringing with them new opportunities together with questions regarding regulation, technology and international operations.

Gil Ben Hur, the founder of 5% Group, is joining the panel to look at the way the sector is developing and at what businesses should take into account as greater regulatory scrutiny is applied. The panel will also feature Ruben Abitbol, Founder & CEO at RUBIK; Lubomir Marasi, Commercial Director at Axcera LLC; Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match-Trader Platform at Match-Prop; Snir Ahiel, Head of Risk & Consulting at PIPCY; and Sam Bradbury, VP of Business Development at Quant Technology Group.

Ben Hur set up 5% Group in 2016, will be back on stage, giving him the point of view of an entrepreneur who has seen funded-trader programmes grow from the ground up.

The points raised will be especially pertinent to property firms, brokers and technology providers who are considering the commercial and regulatory aspects of this developing business model.

5. How Top Financial Affiliates Generate High-Quality Traders

05 November 2026 | 12:25 – 12:55

Drawing in new traders is one difficulty, while keeping them engaged, building up trust and establishing profitable long-term relationships is another.

The panel will look at the ways in which financial affiliates make use of social trading, copy trading, gamification and educational content in order to establish active trading communities.

Line Ho Young Peteri, who is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Affiliation at ATFX, will be joining Amin Siala, the founder and CEO of Intelligent Systems, together with some other individuals from the industry. The panel will also feature Tal Itzhak Ron, Lawyer & Notary , Chairman and CEO at Tal Ron; and Eleni Nicolaou, Head of Partnerships at Tibiglobe.

The discussion will examine the way in which community platforms, live trading sessions and educational funnels can affect trader engagement and retention.

For brokers and affiliates the question is especially pertinent in so far as it asks how acquisition strategies can secure customers who remain engaged after their first registration?
