Mark the dates

Dates: 02–05 November 2026
Venue: Fiera Roma
Address: Via Portuense, 1645, 00148 Rome, Italy

The FX.world event brings together businesses and people in four days who are influencing the forex and fintech industry across the globe. Alongside the fair, attendees can attend lecture sessions, meet leading figures in the industry, explore new technologies, and make connections.

The wider Rome programme also brings together SiGMA World, AIBC and AGS, creating opportunities to connect with professionals across gaming, affiliate marketing, artificial intelligence, blockchain and financial technology.

Know your venue

Fiera Roma is another of Italy’s most important exhibition spaces. It has the space, services, and facilities necessary to organize big international events. The large exhibition halls, conference rooms, and meeting spaces at this location provide businesses with everything they need to showcase their products and make connections.

The exhibition centre is located outside the historic city centre, with convenient connections to Fiumicino Airport and Rome’s regional railway network. Planning your journey will help you arrive on time for meetings and avoid unnecessary travel delays.

Given the size of the venue, comfortable footwear is recommended. If your schedule includes meetings across several exhibition areas, allow sufficient time to move between appointments.

Getting to Fiera Roma

From Fiumicino Airport

Rome-Fiumicino Airport is the most convenient international airport for delegates travelling to FX.world. The exhibition centre is located less than 5km away, making transfers relatively straightforward.

The FL1 train service runs from the airport all the way to the Fiera Roma station, located right next to the exhibition center. This is a convenient travel option for exhibitors with little luggage, who will find from the Fiera Roma website that the fare for the airport connection is only €8.

Taxis are another option, particularly if you are travelling with colleagues or carrying exhibition materials. The road journey can take around 10 minutes in favourable traffic conditions, although delays are possible.

If you are travelling directly from the airport to a meeting or event, check your route before departure and allow additional time for potential queues and traffic.

From central Rome

Delegates staying in the city centre can use the FL1 regional railway to reach Fiera Roma. The line connects with several major railway stations, including Roma Tiburtina, Roma Tuscolana, Roma Ostiense and Roma Trastevere, before continuing towards Fiumicino Airport.

Depending on where you are staying, you may need to combine the train with a metro, bus or taxi journey. Check the route from your accommodation before travelling, particularly if you have an early meeting or a full conference schedule.

By bus

Various public transport options are available to connect the vicinity and Fiera Roma. Routes serving this station include ATAC routes 808, 089, 701, and 701L, as well as COTRAL services. Eiffel/Fiera di Roma is one of the nearby stops, where various routes may run. Due to the varying nature of the routes and timetable, updated information must be checked before planning a trip.

By taxi or ride-hailing service

Taxis and ride-hailing services offer a convenient alternative for travelling between Fiera Roma, hotels, restaurants and evening networking events.

Commonly used apps in Rome include Uber, FREENOW, itTaxi and appTaxi. Confirm the vehicle registration and driver details before entering the car.

Traffic can be unpredictable, especially during busy periods. If you are travelling to an awards ceremony, business dinner or scheduled meeting, allow a buffer rather than relying solely on the estimated journey time.

By car

Fiera Roma is accessible via the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA), Rome’s ring road. Drivers must exit at Exit 30 and follow the signs for the exhibition centre.

Parking at the venue is vast, with more than 7,000 parking spaces available. If you are driving, ensure you verify the current parking options.

Choose your accommodation

Your choice of accommodation can influence how much you get out of FX.world, particularly if you plan to attend meetings and networking events throughout the four-day programme.

Staying in central Rome provides access to restaurants, historic landmarks and the city’s evening entertainment. It can also be convenient for meetings taking place away from the exhibition centre. However, you will need to account for the daily journey to Fiera Roma.

Accommodation closer to the venue may be more practical if your priority is minimising travel time and maintaining a tightly organised schedule.

FX.world’s official travel information features hotel options for delegates, including Corinthia Rome, located in the historic centre on Piazza del Parlamento. Before booking, compare the location, transport connections and cancellation conditions against your plans.

Rome is a popular international destination, and major events can affect hotel availability. Booking early gives you more choice and makes it easier to organise your travel around the event programme.

Build your business agenda

With brokers, technology providers, payment specialists, affiliates, and institutional firms in attendance, FX.world offers opportunities across multiple areas of the financial services ecosystem.

The most effective approach is to identify your priorities before arriving. Consider which companies you want to meet, which technologies you want to explore and which sessions are most relevant to your business.

The conference programme covers subjects including financial trading, artificial intelligence, automation, liquidity, payments, brokerage innovation, fintech and regulation. Sessions featuring CEOs, founders and industry specialists provide perspectives on the commercial and technological developments influencing the sector.

The Global Finance Stage also features special guests, including futurist and bestselling author Brett King, whose keynote, BANK 5.0: The Rise of Autonomous Banking in a Smart World, explores the future of banking, programmable money, artificial intelligence and technology-driven financial services.

Review the FX.world agenda before travelling and build your schedule around the sessions and speakers most relevant to your objectives. Leave room between appointments, as exhibition conversations and networking opportunities can easily run longer than expected.

Use the floor plan to plan your meetings

The FX.world exhibition brings together businesses across forex, fintech, payments, trading infrastructure and related services. Navigating the exhibition efficiently can help you make better use of your time.

Use the interactive floor plan to identify exhibitors, locate priority stands and map out your meetings. Group appointments by location where possible, and leave time to explore companies outside your immediate area of interest.

If you are looking for a new trading platform, CRM system, liquidity arrangement, payment solution or technology partner, prepare a shortlist of providers before arriving. Having clear questions and business objectives will make conversations more productive.

You should also allow time for unexpected introductions. A company you discover while exploring the floor may offer a solution or partnership that was not on your original agenda.

Plan around the four-day programme

FX.world runs from 02–05 November, with the exhibition, conference sessions and networking activities forming part of a wider programme in Rome.

The opening days are an opportunity to establish contacts, explore the exhibition and begin conversations with potential partners. As the summit progresses, use your schedule to revisit promising leads, attend relevant sessions and turn initial introductions into more detailed business discussions.

The wider event programme includes networking drinks, a first-timer networking kickstart and the AIBC & FX Awards. The awards evening is scheduled for 03 November at Corsie Sistine, bringing together businesses and professionals from the financial technology ecosystem for industry recognition and networking.

If you are attending additional events across the wider SiGMA World Group programme, check each event’s access requirements and schedule separately. Not every activity will necessarily be included with every ticket type, and some experiences may require advance registration.

Make time for Rome

While business will be the priority for many delegates, Rome offers plenty of opportunities to experience the city outside the exhibition halls.

The historic centre is home to landmarks including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. Trastevere is another popular area for restaurants and evening outings, while Vatican City offers world-famous museums and architectural sites.

If you have limited free time, group your sightseeing by area rather than crisscrossing the city between appointments. Consider arriving a day early or extending your stay after the summit if you want to explore more comfortably.

Remember that Fiera Roma is outside the historic centre, so factor in transport time when making dinner reservations or planning evening activities.

What to pack

November in Rome is generally mild, but temperatures can vary, and rain is possible. Pack layers, a light waterproof jacket and comfortable shoes suitable for walking around a large exhibition centre.

Business-casual clothing is a practical choice for conference sessions and meetings, while evening dinners and awards events may call for something more formal.

If you are visiting the Vatican Museums or St Peter’s Basilica, check the dress code in advance, as modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is generally required.

A portable power bank is also worth bringing. Between your meeting calendar, digital tickets, maps, messages and social media, your phone will be an important part of your event toolkit.

Money and payments

Italy uses the euro. Cards are widely accepted across Rome, including hotels, restaurants and most retail outlets, although carrying some cash can be useful for smaller purchases.

Inform your bank of your travel plans if necessary, check any foreign transaction fees and use reputable ATMs. If you are travelling for business, keep track of receipts for transport, accommodation and other eligible expenses.

Stay connected

Free Wi-Fi is available to delegates and exhibitors at the event. International visitors may also wish to arrange an eSIM or suitable mobile data plan before travelling.

Reliable connectivity can make a significant difference when coordinating meetings, accessing the event agenda and communicating with colleagues or clients. Save essential information to your phone in advance in case you experience connectivity issues.

Keep your meeting details, accommodation address and return travel information accessible throughout your stay.

Power sockets

Italy uses Type C, F and L electrical sockets, with a standard supply of 230V.

Bring a compatible travel adaptor if your devices use a different plug type. Check the voltage requirements of any equipment you plan to bring, particularly if you are travelling with specialist technology or business equipment.

Stay safe in Rome

As with any major international destination, remain aware of your surroundings, particularly in crowded tourist areas and on public transport.

Keep valuables secure, avoid leaving phones or wallets in easily accessible pockets and use reputable transport providers. When using a ride-hailing service, confirm the vehicle and driver details before getting in.

For emergencies in Italy, call 112, the general European emergency number. Save your accommodation details and relevant travel information so you can access them quickly if needed.

Check visa and entry requirements

Entry requirements depend on your nationality and immigration status. Check the latest Italian and Schengen travel requirements before booking or departing.

If you require a visa, allow sufficient time to complete the application process and prepare supporting documentation. An event invitation letter may be available for eligible delegates who need one for their application.

Ensure that your passport, visa documentation where applicable, travel insurance, accommodation details and return travel arrangements are in order before leaving home. Always consult official government sources for the latest entry requirements.
